Holland and Barrett are doing their buy one, get one half price thing and whilst I don't really take vitamins, I'm loving their flaxseed and pumpkin seed products with Goji berries and sunflower seeds mixed in - there's even one mixed with cocoa for the chocolate lovers. So sprinkle some on your porridge in the morning nand stay full til lunch time - in a healthy way....

DAY 7....and counting...

Ok, Ok, Ok! we do have Scotland - hello Liz! and even though we have Miami, she's British - I'm still counting it as Miami!

SOMEONE has said they like spinach soooo much that they have it practically every day. This is not necessarily a good thing - you can OD on spinach it contains a high concentration of an ingredient that escapes me (I think its salicytes or something like that - that can increase the risk of kidney stones ouch!) So maybe balance your consumption out a bit more?

Today has been a DAY! The beauty of technology means we awoke to e mails that weren't the best of news so in about 10 days (well within my DETOX remit) we are travelling to California and then back for a day before bouncing back out to Germany. This is going to be a real test - a combination of flights/timelines and entetaining/being entertained by customers....

This requires planning and Tupperware (showing my age) or Klip Lok. It can be done, but preparation is key - I will keep you posted and blogged at all hours.

Needless to say, today - after the difficult start - plus a half hour gym session -saw me going to do a 2 hour presentation at Coventry College to some Year 2/NVQ Level 3 Beauty therapists to tell them what I have been up to in the last 20 years. They were a really lovely group and their tutor is giving them the best start, then it was back to the office and I'm now sat blogging with cup of peppermint tea and a pot of mixed nuts and dried fruit - I have Eaten NOTHING yet today - dilemma is to ovedose on nuts and fruit or go carefully and have a decent supper and put today down to experience. I don't recommend it and it reminded me that carrying the pot of nuts with me would have meant at least some nutrition - but as always, do as I say, not as I manage to do!!

We are trying some decaffeinated coffee tomorrow that is carbon Dioxide extraction - I use to say only Swiss Water extraction but will find out more and let you know.

Skin Clear this morning too, so feeling like I'm looking a bit better....has anyone anything else to report?

Hi Jane. I am from QLD in Australia and this is my 3rd detox in 10yrs so I have an older copy of your book. I have started my detox a bit later than you and am currently up to Day 7. Is it really OK to have tomatoes from here on?
